If you're looking at this TV I imagine you're not looking for a fully featured TV that blows everything available today out of the water. You're probably looking for a simple little television you can put in your room to watch some TV shows/movies or play your console on. In that respect this TV really excels, even by today's standards.

Before I go on, I would just like to say that the picture quality on this TV is outstanding. When you mess around with the settings enough you find that it gives you really vivid and crisp quality images. I play my Xbox 360 on it and am chuffed with how great everything looks compared to before (and I was previously using it on a 2 year old 42" LG HDTV). I also hooked up my phone through the USB port on the TV and tested out some movies and pictures and was amazed at the clarity I'm seeing now. With the right settings this TV produces outstanding picture quality; that much I'm certain about.

TV arrived in a week, and was pretty easy to set up. The picture quality and size is perfect for what i need (42-inch, general everyday use), and I am very happy with this TV. I looked around quite a lot, and of course, there are TV's that are better in picture quality (smart TV), but they are also much more expensive. For the price, this TV is worth every penny. Looks slick, and even on a stand (rather than wall mounted), it takes up minimal space. Very happy!!

Just can't say enough to thank you for the excellent service and delivery of our new LG tv. Ordered on the evening of 6th June and received by 11am Friday morning 8th June. The television is a superb product and we are very happy with the sound and vision quality and the easily located funtions. Exactly as described and delivered with the fast service we have come to expect from Amazon uk. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an excellent LCD tv at a good price.
