I have no idea why would someone even think of making a product like this. The name is so irrelevant. How can you even claim to convert DVI-D (Digital) signal to VGA (Analogue) signal just by cross-linking some wires? It could make sense if it were DVI-I (Digital and analogue integrated).

I bought this in a hurry, without doing any research. But I should at least have read the reviews!

I have to agree with the other review, this is a total waste of money - sure it changes DVI-D to VGA but that's it my VGA only monitor still does not work !
